Features

Everything a scratchpad should do, nothing it shouldn't

Built for the moments you need text out of one head and into another — fast.

Share by link

Every note is just a URL. Copy it from the toolbar and send it — no invites, no accounts, no permissions to manage.

Autosave as you type

A second after you stop typing, the note is saved. The status pill in the toolbar tells you exactly where things stand.

Password lock

Set a password on any note and readers have to enter it before the content loads. Change or remove it whenever you like.

Burn after reading

Flip a note to one-view mode and it destroys itself the moment it has been read once. Ideal for handing something over.

Timed expiry

Choose 1 hour or 24 hours and the note clears itself on schedule. Or keep it forever — that is the default.

Readable code

Paste a snippet and it stays monospaced and highlighted, with line breaks and indentation exactly where you left them.

How it works

Three steps, about ten seconds

  1. 01

    Pick a name

Type any name after the slash, or let Maskpad generate a memorable one for you.

  2. 02

    Write

The editor is ready immediately. Your text is saved a second after you stop typing.

  3. 03

    Send the link

Hit Share Link, paste it wherever, and lock or expire the note if it is sensitive.
